About The Program

Mental Health Program

In the Sanuka Afri-Youth initiative, we offer mental health services that address the psychological and emotional well-being of the youth we work with.

  1. Psychosocial Counseling: We provide counseling sessions to help youth manage stress, trauma, and mental health challenges, particularly those who have experienced violence or other forms of trauma.
  2. Emotional Support: Through mentorship and group activities, we offer a supportive environment where youth can share their experiences, feel heard, and build emotional resilience.
  3. Stress Management: We offer techniques and tools for managing stress, anxiety, and negative emotions, empowering youth to cope with the pressures they face in their daily lives.
  4. Mental Health Awareness: We provide education on mental health, helping to reduce stigma, promote well-being, and encourage early intervention.
